SUPRO observed World Health Day 2015 in 45 districts and in national level concurrently. The theme of World Health Day from World Health Organization is "From farm to plate, make food safe". On ‘the eve of World Health Day SUPRO published a leaflet and circulated to grassroots level and nationally.
In district level SUPRO organized human chain & rally to observe the day. Representatives from likeminded organization and NGOs, journalists, teachers, students, health related officials and mass people took part in the program organized by SUPRO district campaign committee and expressed solidarity with the popular demands for ensuring health rights for all.
In national level celebration of World Health Day 2015, SUPRO staged a human chain in front of National Press Club, Dhaka. More than 50 representatives of like-minded organizations, students, activist took part in the human chain. All the speakers demanded that a strong health policy have to be introduced which will ensure fresh and safe food for all and health is not our basic needs it’s our fundamental rights they added.

The program organize aiming to aware the marginal people about the tax they are paying everyday buying goods and commodities and claim for less tax on daily necessary good like grocery, fuel and agricultural products. Their opinion raised for more tax would be charged on luxury items and in the contrary the minimum tax would be imposed on daily commodities that people have to consume every day.
Md. Israfil Alam MP, Member Parliamentary committee on labour was the chief guest. The program presided over by Madhab Chandra Dutta, NC member SUPRO’s where Daisy Ahmed, EB member SUPRO placed the position paper.

Half of the world population is woman and it is not possible to reach towards inclusive development without all-round participation of women, and today’s young girls are future women and with this view the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day has been chosen as ‘Empowerment of Women is Empowerment of Humanity’. SUPRO being a rights based organization showed full solidarity with the theme and organized a Human chain and Rally to observe the International Women Day on March 8, 2015 across the country at national and local level (at 45 districts).
