SUPRO organized a 2 days-long workshop on review of social audit instruments at YWCA Auditorium from 28 -29 July 2013. 23 districts secretaries and DCFs attended the workshop.
Since 2010 SUPRO has been conducting social audit on primary education and health situation in 20 districts. From this year 3 more districts has been added on for performing social audit. So 23 districts is going to conduct social audit in the year 2013.

Day -1

Md. Arifur Rahman, General Secretary of SUPRO delivered his welcome speech while Mustafizur Rahman Khan emphasized the objectives of the workshop in his speech.
Md. Shariful Islam, Coordinator of SUPRO presented a paper on social audit highlighting objectives, method, scope and respondent of the survey work of social audit and past three years experiences of field survey. NC Member of SUPRO Madhab Chandra Dutta and Sharifa Khatun shared their experience on Social Audit on Education & Health Situation. Among the District Campaign Facilitators-DCFs Tahera Khatun from Rajshahi and Iqbal Bahar Maruf from Rangamati shared their field experience.  After that all participants took part in an open discussion. General Secretary of SUPRO moderated the session.  

Day-2

The second day of the workshop was mainly for instrumental review in details. All participants did group works for the task. Director of SUPRO, Samia Ahmed divided them into some groups for group work.
There were two sessions. In the first session health related questionnaires were reviewed through group work. After review of the questionnaires group members presented those before all. Some valuable feedback was incorporated from the house. After incorporating feedback and a huge discussion over the tools questionnaires were finalized.  After break questionnaires on education was finalized through group work and following the same way. There are two sets of questionnaires for both education and health part. One set is for service provider and another one is for service receiver.
After finalizing the instruments workshop came to end through the concluding speech of Chairperson of SUPRO.
