The
National Council
SUPRO
has been registered as a trust with registration act
1908 under the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary
Affairs of Government of Bangladesh during 4th September
2004 although the network has formed and started their
work since April 2001. SUPRO has also applied for
registration in NGO Affairs Bureau of Government of
Bangladesh.
National
Council (NC) is also Board of Trustee (BoT) of the
network, this is the highest policy making body. It
is formed with 20 member organizations from different
districts and regions of Bangladesh. Meeting of the
NC have to be held minimum three times in a year.
There is an Executive Board with 11 members from National
Council. Major responsibility of the Executive Board
is to provide operational guidelines to the secretariat.
The Executive Board has to meet minimum four times
in a year. Brief particular of the NC or BoT has given
