with tolerance of opposition opinion, well disciplined

SUPRO
works for the access of power, which is favourable
to the poor and take programs as follows:
• Training for district level organizations
• Publish booklet and flipchart as material
of awareness campaign and press conference both
in National and District level.
• Orientation for probable candidates in
district level.
• Orientation for Deputy Commissioner (DC)
and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO). Selection the
field of Cooperation on process of election
• Meeting with Election Commission
Objectives:
SUPRO implement the under mentioned activities
in view of specific target / aim:
1. Effort to popularize the demand of Self governed
local government and respectful public representatives
as a public demand.
2. Assist Election commission for free and fair
election. Start initiative of Civil Society for
non partisan election observation as a interest
of institulized democracy.
3. Assist the poor specially disadvantaged women
or the power which is in favour of poor to increase
access in parishad.
Steps of implementation:
SUPRO has completed this campaign implementing
the activities as follows:
1. Awareness raising of representatives of poor
and civil society
2. Organized training for probable candidates
for a free and fair election.
3. To ensure a free and fair election SUPRO cooperate
with government and observe election by establishing
committee and orientation at District and Upazila
level.
4. Orientation for all government official who
are involved in election process, all candidates
and civil society.
5. Election observation, Monitoring and cooperation
with election commission by the committee.
District level organization SUPRO observe the
17th Union Parishad Election of Bangladesh with
self finance.
